What is VoIP?
Voice over Internet Protocol is a way of using computer networks and the Internet to carry speech transmissions.
Is Skype a form of VoIP?
Skype is a free software programme that uses a peer-to-peer VoIP application. Because it is meant for home use it doesn't have the flexibility, or call handling capabilities, of a business PBX system.
